About Us

The Claremont Kiwanis Club is the local chapter of the Kiwanis International organization. Kiwanis is a global network of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child at a time. Through this annual Big Auction, and our Ringing Bells fundraiser during the holiday season, all of the money raised is spent in ways that help children. Some charities which we have been proud to support include:

  • Claremont Cares
  • Unity Giving Tree
  • Alstead Flood Relief
  • Scholarships for graduating Stevens High School seniors
  • Teen Room at the Women's Supportive Services shelter
  • Camp Sunshine for terminally ill children
  • Special Olympics
  • Davis C. Hemingway Memorial Foundation
  • St. Mary's Playground
  • Relay for Life
  • Unity Playground
  • Fire victims support
  • Hurricane Katrina relief
  • Claremont Youth Soccer
  • Children's Museum travelling exhibit
  • Camp Carefree for juvenile diabetics
  • Greater Claremont Christian Academy
  • Claremont Skateboard Park
  • Kurn Hattin School
  • Relay for Life
  • Northern Stage Project Playwright

We also sponsor other community events like the Diabetes Walk-a-thon and a Bike Rodeo to promote bicycle safety.
